Meet the Doctors

Thanks to you, our loyal patients, Acuity Vision Optometry Boutique is expanding! We now have two doctors on staff to meet your optometry needs.

Dr. Lyndi Fandino Schmidt

Dr. Lyndi Fandino Schmidt obtained her Doctorate Degree in Optometry from the University of California at Berkeley in May 2001. Prior to that, she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.

Dr. Schmidt completed her clinical training at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry, San Francisco VA Hospital, La Clinica de la Raza in Oakland, and Beijing Medical University.  She has performed numerous pediatric vision screenings for the San Francisco Unified School District and private schools throughout San Francisco. She also has previously served on the Board of Governors for the San Francisco Optometric Society.  She happily resides in San Francisco with her family.

Dr. Nadia Samii

Dr. Nadia Samii currently teaches Optometry at the University of California at Berkeley where she also received her Doctorate in Optometry. Coupled with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of California at Davis, she provides an informed perspective on preventative health care, from healthy nutritional intake to preventing eyestrain with computer relief eyewear.

Dr. Samii is certified to treat Glaucoma and many other eye diseases. Her clinical training included work in VA Hospitals in Sacramento, Portland Oregon, and Vancouver Washington, as well as in Castle Family Health Center in Atwater, California. She has invested her time in pediatric vision screenings and eye exams for home-bound elderly around the bay area and central California.

Dr. Samii is a northern California native. Raised by restaurateurs in Sonoma County, she loves to cook and eat! Enjoying the musical talent of San Francisco’s Latin bands, she stays active by dancing Latin ballroom.
